JERUSALEM - Two reports today about Iran's nuclear program and the possibility of an Israeli military strike have analysts in Israel accusing the Obama administration leaking information to pressure Israel not to bomb Iran and for Iran to reach a compromise in upcoming nuclear talks.
"In recent weeks the administration shifted from persuasion efforts vis-Ă -vis decision-makers and Israel's public opinion to a practical, targeted assassination of potential Israeli operations in Iran," Ben-Yishai writes.
"To make it more difficult for Israeli decision-makers to order the IDF [Israeli Defense Forces] to carry out a strike, and what's even graver, to erode the IDF's capacity to launch such strike with minimal casualties."
Today on Fox News, John Bolton blasted the Obama administration, accusing them of intentionally leaking the information, saying it was part of “this administration’s campaign against an Israeli attack,” which is motivated by their opinion that “an Israeli attack is worse than an Iranian nuclear weapon.”
Bolton explained that he believes “the Obama administration has torqued it up a notch, and now they’re going to reveal very sensitive, very important information that will allow Iran to defeat an Israeli attack.”
I don't think it would take a "leak" to find out about Israeli use of those Azeri bases. Those rumors have been going around for months, along with bases in Armenia and Georgia. So, that was hardly a secret to begin with, either in Iran or anywhere else.

well , well ,well I believe if Iran owns a hundreds of atomic weapons ,she isn't going to use it against Israel or US. As Arab we look to you as partners since Iran was most helpful to US in invading Afghan and Iraq , I can not see any real clash between Ahmadinajad's and Oboama's thoughts !
Iranian needs Israel more than any thing else in life . that is to use it as a cover for more expansion and authority on Gulf's tiny countries .
Israel presence is a justification for Iran to build a massive army but with no intention to attack anybody other than Arabs.
Obama is destroying the friendship and trust we have with our allies.
