Yep, and MBA and a law degree. Not much scary science there, but I'm sure Rick wasn't too thrilled with those biology and/or physics general eds he had to take as an undergrad. Scary stuff!

But mostly, knowledge isn't bad for him, it's bad for you and me! He trusts himself to disbelieve the right things, but he doesn't trust you or I to see that evolution is a big conspiracy, stuff like that...

Indeed. When scientists are corrupted from using scientific method but rather choose their preferred outcome and then include only those fact which support their hypothisis this is action worthy of distrust and skeptiscism. It is distrust of politically motivated outcomes of science by corrupted scientists.

Last week, it was discovered that crash dummies changed the safety rating of car models when the dummies were configured with female physiques rather than strictly male-configured crash dummies.Car Safety Rating: Female Crash Dummies Tested | Video - ABC News

Decades of crash tests practically worthless----because of "scientists" making horrendous assumptions.

Sure, I trust scientists COMPLETELY. Especially when I'm feeling in a very liberal mood, and desiring for the world to just agree with all my little assumptions.

Have there been any scientific discoveries in the last 40 years that conservatives have agreed with? Or is all knowledge considered suspicious?
Based upon the premise of this thread it would seem the liberal embrace of hyperbole as a valid form of argument is also gaining in popularity.

Scientists have a better record than the Bible when it comes to scientific theories.

Science should not be trusted by Americans. What do scientists know anyway? They have no common sense.
God doesn't like science - science can't prove his existence.

Some of the greatest scientific minds of old were devout christians. It's a shame science and religion are pretty mutually exclusive these days.
