Last week it was the War on Women and before that the War on Christians.
This week it turned into the War on Blacks.
My how quick and fickle Americans are..never staying on one issue long enough to get resolved. Always have to be on top of the "latest political fire".
Don't you all get mentally tired of being outraged each week over a different issue ?
Because these aren't real issues that impact real-life Americans, they are manufactured controversies designed to benefit political parties.
The "War on women"? Every reasonable person knows there isn't really a 'war on women' being waged but the media says there is because creating chaos and dysfunction and spreading misinformation is what they're paid to do.

Yes but I don't get all bent out of shape on issues.
Maybe because I just read an article here and there and don't watch MSM news on TV so it's not "in my face" every 10 minutes.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this (and I understand where you are coming from on this), but most Americans do not buy into this media generated hype. The Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of the world are disgusting demagogues. We aren't influenced by their rantings. They are race baiters.
Most Americans are smarter today. Those old "liberal" tactics don't work so well anymore. They are fodder for the legacy media only. The rest of us laugh.
Unfortunately, they stir up enough trouble amongst the uninformed to create real problems. They make things worse.

Many issues do get resolved. Problem is that it gets un-resolved by whomever is in charge either at the state level or the federal level. Thus it starts over again at a different starting point in a generation of people.

No, Americans aren't flicked. Each of those topics have a different demographic and each are very passionate about their causes. What's the problem with that.
