It was attrocious, disgusting and heart breaking not only for the kids but also for the social workers and health care personels who have to deal with putting them back together again.

I have a bad feeling the Black and Hispanic kids that are hurt that way DON'T make it to the hospital because the perps would be tracked and an killed.

Hooo-leee-crap...Was this really such a common occurrence that it became an issue for your wife to deal with? Did all/most of these cases result in convictions of the perpetrators? Please share some details
I have to laugh at any black person pointing the finger at whites on this topic.
Child neglect and abuse is rampant in the black population and black children are removed from homes at a much higher rate than any other race in the U.S. Black children are far more likely to be murdered or injured by a parent or adult relative. Black children are abandoned to the govt/foster care system at far higher rate than other races. Underage black females are much more likely to be raped or molested, get pregnant or contract an STD than any other race in the U.S. As bad as it is here, the situation is far worse in Africa with more infant/child rapes than any other region in the world.
Pedophilia is an equal-opportunity affliction. It's rampant in every country, society, race, culture and neighborhood. Anybody who thinks otherwise is seriously sheltered.

I find it interesting that certain people always attempt to turn around and point an accusing finger at Black people whenever something unpleasant or negative is being discussed about "their" people. That urge must just be irresistible because we all know that no matter how awful the actions of "certain types of people" happen to be....Blacks are worse, right?

It's simple they can't own their pathology.
When you are hung up on believing you are innately superior to somebody else based on the color of you skin ANYTHING that shows otherwise has to repudiated even if it results in deluding yourself and insulting your own intelligence.
Most black people will readily acknowledge issue having to crime, and drug abuse in the black community.
What is blatantly obvious is the need of some people to "whitewash" the behavior within their own community.
