who cares?

If you don't like the ad, don't support moveon.
If you don't like they got a discount, don't buy the paper.

Other than that it's their constitutional right to protest against the general.

I don't like the ad, but that dosen't take away the fact that they should be allowed to say what they want, just like those that burn the flag to state their oppinion.

Default The New York TIMES needs to explain this discount.

I'd like to know why the NEW YORK TIMES gave such a great discount. I do not care about Moveon's freedom of speech. They have their rights.

The New York TIMES needs to explain this discount.

Because they are a company? Seriously...

Car companies you can haggle with
Banks you can haggle with
Jewelry stores you can haggle with
and now you want a newpaper to explain why they are allowed to give a discount? thats pathetic. It's a hatred of the ad veiled with an excuse of them getting a discount.

We only need confirmation that the NYT did indeed give a discount to moveon.org for the ad. The confirmation will explain the NYTs.

I don't think they need to explain anything. I think it was a statement of how far left the NYT has gone, but its well within there right. They could have given them the ad for free if they wanted to.

It's freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Not everyone agrees with the ad, but it's certainly a protected freedom.
