Honest question - have you read any of the recent literature (scientific and otherwise) on gender identity, gender theory, feminism (comes in many waves, obviously)?

If so, who?

Would you care to point out where any meaningful content was placed with that reply? If all you're going to do is carp, you may as well save everyone the time.

Suppose you undertake to write down the equations that you see supporting your analysis. All you know is that the percentage of women participating in the workforce was increasing and that the workforce overall was expanding at a relatively constant rate. Provide your proof that women were replacing men.

To be honest, I think we tend to agree more than we disagree.

I don't, however, see the purpose behind the thrust of your posts. I think (for the most part) you've been fairly rational in your own arguments (when you express them), but you spend most of your efforts defending some of the garbage here.

I don't quite understand why.

I'm sorry, but I don't do exegesis with true believers.

Faith always ends up trumping reason.

Ah, but you played right along in the attack.

Don't really see why.

I don't accept this. Nice try, though.

Again, who have you been reading?

I agree with you. Uh, that we probably agree, that is.

To answer your query, though -- maybe (without either of us citing specific examples) it's because what you call "garbage" may actually be honest disagreement clumsily expressed by people with less formal training in rhetoric. I tend to dislike seeing people bullied.

By the way, thank you for the "fairly rational." That was fairly complimentary.

Competitive spirit. He's easily as skillful as I am, so it's a challenge.
