I find it troubling how the public reacted to the Occupy crowd. A majority of the group was of this demographic and their cause, to end corporate greed and government corruption, was just. .
Most of us agree with their cause. But most of that crowd just wanted more handouts, not less. Crony Capitalism is rampant but you don't end it by protesting at corporate buildings and demanding that our bloated government forgive your loans. They should have protested at the capitals around the country and in DC. That's where the laws are made. That's where our idiots in charge decide to give our money to corporations like Solyndra and lazy individuals who don't want to work.
There are very few options for young people today. College has become a complete rip-off for anyone who doesn't come from a filthy rich family. 60% of recent college grads can't find full-time work in their college educated fields of study. Another huge percentage of the small subset of college educated people who do find full-time career work end up making only $10 an hour without benefits. ?
I pay my gardener $15 per hour. Maybe some of those highly educated college grads should try doing some manual labor.
