He certainly fits the defintition of a vigilante. Yes, I know you're on a mission to bash Sharpton and Jackson at every opportunity, so I'll just take those tired comments with a grain of salt.
Vigilante ...any person who takes the law into his or her own hands; a member of a volunteer committee organized to suppress and punish crime
But he didn't take the law into his own hands..UNTIL Martin gave him a shot, knocked him to the ground, jumped on him, bashed his head for good measure, broke his nose.....and THEN Zimmerman defended himself.
Being a NW captain does not preclude that person from following and/or questioning a person that does not belong in the neighborhood.
No, of course not. Quit twisting things. A neighborhood watch captain is supposed to call 911 and back off! That is exactly what Zimmerman was told when he called 911.
And then it appears he did just that, heading back to his car. Unfortunately, he seems to have attracted the attention of Martin, who then attacked him.

Oh, another eyewitness steps forward, but refuses to contact the appropriate authorities.
Under no circumstance are neighborhood watch volunteers advised to exit their vehicles, pursue suspicious people, and place themselves physically into the activity. Not only are neighborhood watch program volunteers advised to stay in their vehicles, they are told not to carry guns.
Wow! This guy is certainly doing his best to analyze the night of the crime. A lot to read and I will read it all later. I only hope the FBI is as diligent as this person...
Let's say, hypothetically, that a video popped up showing the whole incident and it turned out to have happened as Zimmerman claimed. Would you guys change your mind about his guilt? Would you still feel that an injustice has happened?
Given his history of (sometimes hilarious) reports to 911, this loser Zimmerman probably thought the old lady behind the deli counter at the local Winn-Dixie looked suspicious.
What a f'n LOSER
Can you imagine a paranoid pinhead like this guy walking around the neighborhood with a loaded 9-mm hand gun.
Unbelievable
Sure hope those prosecutors can find some way to nail the loser and get him behind bars for a very long time...
IMO, it doesn't matter. Zimmerman followed Martin, and if Martin found that threatening (it's entirely reasonable to be fearful about being followed by a larger person at night), Martin would have been acting within his rights whether he ran or attacked Zimmerman (I don't think he did the latter, but that's in question, apparently). Martin could be defended under the Stand Your Ground law if he acted to protect himself from presumed attack.
Nothing would have happened had Martin been left alone, or if Zimmerman had called the police to come and check things out. Instead, Zimmerman followed (a threatening action) and possibly confronted Martin, so any action Martin took would be justified any way you look at it. Zimmerman was the instigator, the threat, and the murderer.
