Well that's interesting. So it's okay for people who've had IVF to abort their babies after this 20 week period? As long as it means the others will survive?

Sounds like it, yes. I remember OctoMom's doctors recommending it to increase the likelihood of at least some of her babies being healthy. Sometimes situations arise in the case of smaller sized gestations like twins and triplets where selective reduction is recommended, too.
