Inalienable rights are granted by our creator and not by government. Our rights and liberties must be constantly fought for in order to maintain them, they are not free.
The primary function of government is to secure/defend individual liberty as defined through our US Constitution.

EUROPE is headed for a cliff not because of health care.....But because of experimentation on society....feminization of males.....overly passive population that has been trained to accept the dominance of Germany...Who started the whole mess over 65 years ago....with National Socialism...Hitlers belated dream come true...and now like communism...it has failed...Health care is fine...brain washing a whole nation to embrace some sort of secularist doctrine..as gospel is not.

Also, it will NOT bring healthcare to everyone, just like now, some people do not want HC: 1) The are rich and do not need it or 2) some people just don't want it, because they are healthy.

50 million Americans do not have health insurance. Subtract 10 million for your illegal immigrants and you have 40 million Americans without some form of health insurance.
Most Americans do understand the Commerce Clause. I don't believe that Obamacare violates it at all. I wouldn't care if it did violate the clause, as it would bring health insurance to nearly 40 million Americans that unjustly don't have it. Any clause can be overlooked if the benefit of the people was in question.

Of course it violates the commerce clause, it is clear you, and your fellow travelers do not care about the Constitution. And of course the Constitution cannot be overlooked on your whim. The Supreme Court gave the loony left a roadmap to live in everlasting bliss. They indicated single payer would be constitutional. Go out and convince the American people, that the same folks who bring them the DMV are the perfect folks to provide them healthcare!

And what exactly is the problem with the DMV? I have never had a bad experience at the DMV. You go there, wait in line, and then take care of whatever business needs to be done. Heck, every ticket I have received I can pay online. The DMV here in Hillsborough county I find to be very well run.

Lol, the constitution says what it says. We also have the Federalist papers to help understand intent. It isn't some obscure parable laden track. You want the interpretation to be something other than what it says.
If you think the DMV is a swell organization, then make your case to the American people. The reality is, the left is trying to accomplish something,through the courts, that they could never accomplish via the electorate. A single payer system.
