I think some Dems just might have paid into it too. But thanks for admitting who the members of the tea party are

My social security isn't "benies" it is something I paid into for over 50 years. How is that a gimmedat?

I worked it up once and if I had been able to save the same amount I could have retired a couple years earlier and paid myself an additional $500 every month for a 20 year period. That's a gimmedat?

No I want to define who's on welfare. Your position is that $ from the gov't is only welfare if its need-based, so anyone that gets money from the gov't, but doesn't need it isn't on welfare. By your logic, if I can afford to pay for my food, but also qualify for SNAP, I'm not on welfare.

That doesn't make sense. So US welfare isn't need-based.

You must have missed my earlier post about the "old, white Republican" remark. Someone else beat you to it and I explained why I said that.

It's simply not true.
Swagger I'm surprised at you. Read the article dude. Hope all is well man

What about people who have paid taxes for decades and all of a sudden receive food stamps for the first time? How is that welfare but not SS?

I suspect my questions will make some uncomfortable, let the deflections, attacks, and twisted logic commence

Nine out of ten, nationally? Nope....

The Tea Party continues to fight this "entitlement mentality" that is a cancer on our nation, and rightly so.

These pictures here are symbolic of a typical Tea Party crowd, but maybe in FL., they show a group that's a bit different.
