I hate it when politicians say "We’ve got to live within our means, everybody’s got to do their part." just to pander to voters. The Federal government does not need to "live within its means" as if that is a well developed and sound economic policy.

I agree there is no more American Dream if Obama keeps lying to the public.

Maybe it's simply time to redefine and update the American Dream.

Since Jan, 2010, 2.1 million jobs have been added. Assuming you heard (or read) it right from your source(s) assumed to be honest and correct, McDonalds has hired 1 million people over 17 months. How many did McDonalds add out of 1 million that were added over two years following six months after the 2001 recession was through?

Folks are just going to come to grips with the reordering of the world. There are 2.5 billion Chinese and Indians who want to live like us. Add to that the 300 million Russians and Brazilians and you quickly see that there may not be enough to go around.

The finite nature of the world is such that they are going to have to take from someone else to get there. That someone else would be us.

The new normal is here. Prepare accordingly.
