Video footage of black customers being the victims of blatant racism in 2012. But of course let the Right Wing tell it, racism died out in mid 60's with the passing of the Civil Rights Acts
Sorry, but that statement doesn't justify a "to be fair." Whether they should WANT to enter an establishment or not is irrelevant... they should be ABLE to patronize any business they so desire, regardless.
I disagree. If someone doesn't want blacks in their establishment, they should be able to discriminate if they want.
The only beef i have is that it should be posted very clearly on the outside saying "no blacks allowed" so as to prevent any situations. It should be big and in bold lettering. If you're gonna be a racist, do it blatantly. It's the only type of racism i can respect. It's the surreptitious stuff that i can't deal with.
So, do you have an answer for the bar owner, other than to keep blacks out? If I owned a bar, I would make it a club, so I can pick and choose the membership.
Winning against the rightwing. Same people who now hate Obama, hate Trayvons family wants justice, hates any and every black voice are the same people who wanted to keep slavery, wanted to keep jim crow and so forth. Yet they lost everytime

I'm pretty sure you can chalk up the Trayvon case as a loss.
As you certainly well know, Drudge, like World Net Daily, publishes content from many different sources. The so-called "mainstream" media, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC et al, all largely get their content from one source, the AP. This is why there is so little difference from one to the other.
Joseph Farah, of World Net Daily, has been involved in news reporting for many, many years, and has taught journalism as well. His credentials are without question, and his standards the highest.
The state of the "mainstream" media is as low as it has ever been. The recent malpractice in media that has taken place in the Trayvon Martin case, exemplifies the problem.
This week, an NBC producer has been fired, and at Media Matters (funded by George Soros), senior analyst M. J. Rosenberg, after humiliating the organization (mistakenly accusing the Drudge Report for racism in the Martin case), is leaving. Keith Olbermann has been fired from Current TV, as well.
NBC was caught in an edit of a tape, which was intended to pronounce Zimmerman guilty without a trial.
Brian Stelter of The New York Times credits NewsBusters.org for being the first to catch NBC's edit.
Yesterday, a Reuters story credited both Breitbart.com and NewsBusters for bringing the problem to the attention of NBC executives.
It is likely that, if not for conservative new media, the misleading edit, which inflamed racial tensions in the Martin case, and which was repeated by Stetler's own New York Times, would have gone unnoticed and uncorrected.
