POLL: POLL: Does The Radical LEFT Organization MoveOn.org Now Control The Democrat Party's Leadership?
It's clear that it does. But MoveOn.org has had control for some time already!

Is MoveOn.org radical left or just radically anti-war? And if they controlled the democratic leadership in congress they would have cut off funds for the Iraq war already.

Hey, stop making logical conclusions. That completely changes the course of the dialogue from irrational conclusions to thoughtful analysis.

No, moveon provides "contributions", which is fine. All politicians get them somewhere, and rarely are they from groups who are balanced in any way. They all have interest and agendas. Dems get them, Repubs get them. Libertarians struggle to get any because special interest groups know that libertarians aren't going to help accomplish the agendas and interests that the group is trying to lobby for.

MoveOn.org promises to make the general election very interesting, if, as seems likely, Hillary Clinton gains the Democrat nomination, since MoveON and the Clintonistas are sworn enemies.
Keep in mind who the Chariman of the DNC is. That's right -- it's the apparently invisible Howard Dean, who once looked he had a lock on the Dem nomination -- until his vein-popping scream and execution by the media, and his crossing of swords with the Clintons.
Baaaaad things happen to you when you make Bill and Hill angry, though they also have the power of resurrection --- witness the emergence of Sandy Berger as shadow National Security Advisor to Hillary...

I'm ok with people bashing the left. Free country. I just like evidence. There's no evidence that Moveon holds sway over the political leadership. If they did, there would be more support in Congress for getting out of Iraq. As it is, there's lots of lipservice and no actual policy. I think that, when it comes to actual voting, many dems in Congress are FAR more cautious than their constituents.
