I am sorry but all the states in the Great Plains area are part of the US and I live in that area, and you know it. At least my state hasn't every discussed cessation from the US.

I think that La Raza says they will TAKE it back as soon as they can get enough of their kind in here. Maybe it won't take any money at all.

I believe Kansas is an honorary statehood, meaning they just think they are really part of the Union, so you are safe.
Yes, it is embarrasing having a Repub for Gov, they simply are not that smart, but hey look at his hair and his ability to Pander, we will be correcting that next election

Kansas may still be part of the US, but it seceded from sanity and modern society a long time ago. With the current religious wacko governor in charge, it won't be much longer until the conversion of Kansas from a 21st Century US state into a 16th Century theocratic fiefdom is complete.

Works for me, anything would be a step up from the Nutjobs running the show there now.

Just like Roe v Wade!

Oh wait....

I don't see it here: Format Document

It is a long held practice for physicians to calculate gestational age as beginning the first day of thef the pregnant woman's last known period (a.k.a cycle).

Clearly the OP is fully of hyperbole!
Roe V Wade allows the states to restrict late term abortions and this bill is just setting a legal determination for what the dividing line will be.

There's nothing crazy or illogical going on here.

It's typical liberal nonsense. Making people pay for their birth control pills is a war on women. Making people identifify themselves before voting is racism. Democrats are always trying to sensationalize everything and make it a wedge issue.

They are deciding that all women will now be two weeks MORE pregnant than they really are so that they can restrict more abortion. That's the bottom line. The GOVERNMENT is now deciding that a fetus is 2 weeks older than it really is. Damn the physicians. What do they know?

This is just more government overstepping by the Republicans. The hypocrisy again is astounding. It's okay to do it with pregnant women--they are dictating medical procedures and determining gestation now. But everything else in the county is off limits to regulate. Got it.

That's Republican logic, government interference is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad , except when it suits their agenda.
