I question the wisdom of anyone whose "moral convictions" come from ancient Israeli mystics. When they attempt to impose those convictions upon others, I won't stand by silent.
Why? Why is your system of morality any better? Isn't it somewhat bigoted to automatically discount others in favor of your own?
Are there gangs of roving gays that are going out and vandalizing cars and homes? Are they occupying neighborhoods and terrorizing women and children? Or doing driveby makeovers and hair stylings?
Or are you suggesting that it's wrong to disagree about issues regarding gay rights? If so, you sound like a heterophobe.

No, I'm not. At the end of the day, I don't care what you think. I may ridicule you for it. I may think less of you for it. But it's your right to think what you want.
It's when you wish to impose your backwards views onto others and force them to live according to your belief that I feel the need to intervene.
