Why? Why is your system of morality any better? Isn't it somewhat bigoted to automatically discount others in favor of your own?

Or are you suggesting that it's wrong to disagree about issues regarding gay rights? If so, you sound like a heterophobe.
I must admit, that was quite a show.

Hey, if the shoe fits. That is an accurate description.

Do you REALLY think that the Judeo-Christian System is the ONLY one that frowned on homosexuality? If you do, please do some study of history.
No, but combined with Islam, that shares similar roots, it accounts for 99% of the anti-gay sentiments shown on this forum.

Because it doesn't impose upon people who are not harming me.

My morality is very simple, and based on three tenants.

1- Do no harm.
2- Golden Rule.
3- Reverse Golden Rule.

And please don't tell me JC invented the golden rule, was around a long time before he was.

Not if mine is demonstrably superior.

Sure it does. You're trying to tell me how to live. Stop it.

Why is that the standard that we should live by?

I certainly never intended to.

How do we determine the standard for "superior"? Honestly....stop judging us. That's bigoted and intolerant.

It's okay for liberal Democrats to be bigoted and intolerant. It's what they are, and what they do.

No, I'm not. At the end of the day, I don't care what you think. I may ridicule you for it. I may think less of you for it. But it's your right to think what you want.

It's when you wish to impose your backwards views onto others and force them to live according to your belief that I feel the need to intervene.

Because the world would be a much better, much nicer place if every human were to follow those three simple points. No further rule-making is necessary.
