I'm gay and I don't see anything disgusting at all about two women kissing. Gay people don't think like that, gay/lesbian folk. We don't view things like kissing disgusting if different gender combinations are doing it. That's a straight thing, to put it bluntly. And to put it realistically, it's insecure heterosexuals. As for social conservative males, finding two women kissing sexy doesn't mean you find it MORALLY CORRECT. These men still DO NOT accept lesbianism. They only like lesbianism when they get a benefit from it. Otherwise, they're perverts, just like gay men. Amber Heard, who I as a gay man can say is very beautiful, has said she had men continue to come onto her, even after she publicly came out as lesbian. That's because too many straight men simply have no respect and no acceptance of the fact some women are gay.
A woman kissing another woman doesn't mean she's a lesbian, especially when we're talking about paid models.

3. Both eyes are closed.
That's enough to figure they're (meant to be portrayed as) lesbian. I've never, and I suspect you've never seen two platonic girlfriends kiss that way.

Curious = confused, foolish, or gay.
Drunk = now, there's something the conservatives might get behind! Let's go with that one. Tell the magazine to reprint the picture with a caption ("These girls are not gay, just drunk") and see how that goes over

So long as you don't seek to censor one more than the other, that's fine. Me personally, I would not want to see two guys making out in public or in a magazine. So I have to show the same disapproval of two women or one man and one woman making out. Fair is fair. As I said earlier, a kiss like the one in the picture we're talking about should be fine pretty much anywhere, IMO.
