Can they get a case of manslaughter if the second degree murder case doesn't pan out? That seemed to be the more likely charge but the prosecutors reached for a more severe charge and now risk getting nothing.
The present case may collapse from the prosecutors being unable to effectively present a case or from conflict of interest or even from a desire to withdraw. Can they drop the current charges and file lesser charges through different prosecutors? The prosecutors are starting to come under scrutiny and may want to remove themselves under pressure from outside interests. So can they in effect start over under those circumstances?

The officer testified today in a way that backed up Zimerman's self defense claim.
The whole thing is a political sham.

I understand your reading comprehension issue..try reading it more s l o w l y. It doesn't match the evidence of the 911 tape, in which we hear Zimmerman talking in a normal voice after he stops chasing Martin. While he does so for minutes...at any time which Martin could have walked inside.

From the maps of the scene and the tape, it appears the "chase" lasted seconds, while the conversation afterword lasted well over a minute, and another few minutes went by before the physical altercation and shooting.

Shadows? Have to do better than shadows unless you are going on coast to coast with Art Bell.

You can't convict or call evidence two shadows that were not identified.

I didn't testify. All I'm doing is giving you information regarding testimony today in the bail hearing. Interpret it any way you want. I don't care.

At the hearing today IMO the state did not have enough compelling evidence to deny bond, hence the judge's decision to set a reasonable bond amount, unless they have more than what they shared today there is a strong possibility this case will be dismissed at the immunity hearing...

Tell it to the prosecutor. I'm not trying the case. I don't care. Just providing info from bail hearing testimony today.
