No. This is so totally wrong. If you're a practicing attorney, then the Texas Bar needs to revoke your license immediately.
Don't forget, in Texas defense counsel can fall asleep at counsel table during a capital murder case and it won't be sufficient IAC claim to get a new trial.....so I've heard.

Intermediate range doesn't exclude the shot being fired from inches away.

This isn't hard here is what happened. Young tuff sizes up little Z decides in an instant he is being profiled and feels justified in kicking his ass. Would have been a more or less easy kick ass feel good for a young tough from the big city bragging rights right? Took the beating a little too far. Z gets pissed taking the whooping of his life. Trayvon accidentally notices gun. Z acts instinctively realizes he has real trouble in an instant bets Trayvon to the draw. Trayvon in an instant realizes he is on the wrong end of the gun gives a shriek and with hot lead numbly piercing his heart he realizes and states in disbelief you got me. Z feeling he has turned the tables jumps straddle of Trayvon not really understanding how he had mortally wounded Trayvon. He even stated he called out to the neighbor to help him restrain a man he did not yet realize he had mortally wounded.

Does anybody know what the judge ruled concerning GZ's bail hearing today? Haven't been able to get any info on whether he was released or sent back to the slammer.
Or...third otpion, his defense attorney canceled the hearing.
He didn't rule on it yet. It's been reported he'll decide next week sometime.

I think the judge did not rule today and GZ is back in jail. No word at this point on when the judge will issue a ruling.
I believe you've nailed it. He was about to get caught with illegal substance and ran, then changed his mind and attacked.
Then why did Zimmerman say that he was circling his truck.
