How many inept governments are completely replaced vs how many inept companies go out of business? Hundreds of thousands of businesses have gone under in America, and the government has been changed to not be corrupt 0 times.

Be serious for once.

Sometimes, not often though. That being said, life is far from black and white. Different areas of life have different goals. My goal at my job is to make the most profit for shareholders (as it should be). My goal as a voter is to get politicians in office who promote freedom to the people with minimal intrusion. My goal in my family life is to be a loving, caring, protecting person. All of my values stem from a particular goal.

Sometimes they overlap, but again, nothing is black and white. When something overlaps, you make a judgment call and live with the consequences of your decision.

+1 (out of rep power at the moment)

Thank you, I feel very much the same way.

I've already seen your posts, and I'm not debating with someone who is stuck in the 50s.

Who are you?

What defines you?

What do you value?

What do you reject?

I value
God, Family, Science, Nature (I'm a rare republican environmentalist).

I reject, certain social fads, stupidity.

The 50's? Sorry, but I wasn't born until the late 1970's.

I bet that everyone's name here is GoodyTwoShoes.
I chose greed and selfishness, just to be different. When I checked the results I wasn't the only one.
I value slender, mature women with dirty minds.

Yes, and another might be "why do some people resent successful people"?
