Romney: Campaign ‘Not Concerned About the Very Poor’ - ABC News
Quote:
“I’m in this race because I care about Americans,” Romney told CNN’s Soledad O’Brien this morning after his resounding victory in Florida on Tuesday. “I’m not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I’ll fix it.”

“I’m not concerned about the very rich, they’re doing just fine. I’m concerned about the very heart of the America, the 90, 95 percent of Americans who right now are struggling.

Who do you feel Romney's economic and tax policies will benefit?

Romney started STAPLES.

Staples employs over 70,000 people.

Obama turned down the Keystone Pipeline. Romney will approve it. 20,000 well paying jobs just like that.

What's Barack going to do?

Just make things worse.

Is this Romney's economic plan for 72 Million plus Americans? Shop at Staples?

I take home less than $26,000 a yr and I'm doing fine, I have a small mortgage, I pay an extra $200 to my dads mortgage every month to pay it off and I have a roommate to help my expenses. All my bills are paid,I also save money and have more than enough for home improvements

You need to keep your overhead low, I live a good life on money you guys obviously consider crap. It is not hard to live on even just $1000/month

What's Barack's plan?

Stifle business and hand out government cheese?

By the way, it's Obama's fault that unemployment is still above 8 percent.

Real unemployment is way above 8% from what I've read online

The jobless and people who want to risk starting new companies or expanding which make jobs.

By the way, if that were a married couple, 2 x 26k = 52K for the family.

How well would the person making 26k feel about being too wealthy for free healthcare and being finded $5000 under Obama for not buying insurance? How does that help their personal economy?

Good job. Way to ignore the context of the message you're responding to and make a snarky one line comment instead. Congratulations, you're learning the liberal method of debate well. Now do you have an actual answer to the point that Romney has revitalized giant companies and actually saved or created tens of thousands of jobs while Obama only makes unsupportable claims and was forced to admit the stimulus didn't work?
