I don't think any conservatives are involved at all. It's Obama's staff making this a big deal. Obama's guys sent the SS team home.

And just for the record, Obama opposes legalization of prostitution.... so he's the one "trying to control the lives of others".

I have no problem with SS staff engaging prostitutes.

Certainly if they have sensitive information in their rooms, not properly safeguarded and they are letting *anyone* into contact with that, well this is a problem.

But, as far as these men spending the night with prostitutes, well, I'm not sure this hasn't been done for hundreds of years but, as you say, "the fleet" with nary a dirty look.
You don't see an issue with SS agents bringing prostitutes back to their rooms in a country that is controlled by drug cartels! Do you think maybe one of the married agents could possibly be compromised.

This is a bad move in any country, this is a great security risk in Columbia, they deserved to be fired.

It's one thing for the agents to be dumb enough to be so obvious bringing hookers back to their hotel room in mass, the level of intelligence of an agent that would actually create a scene over the price escapes me. I would not want anyone that dumb in the SS.

By the way prostitution is not necessarily a choice, may woman are forced into prostitution, the argument that it is no big deal is lacking in intelligence to say the least.

A lot of people including conservatives are saying it shouldn't be a big deal , yet this reminds me of the countless threads where loyal patriotic Americans mostly of conservative side post how America is such a grand country compared to countries in Europe or South America and bash those countries.

Yet, in America cops go out of their way to bust prostitution and the "john", They go out of their way to lure men by placing false craigslist ads, they dress a female cop as a hooker and entice the men then arrest them, impound their vehicle, post their name and face in the news paper and make them go to court.

Other countries actually legalize it, but in America the supposed land of the free where so many seem to say it is no big deal the government local and other seem to think prostitution is a big deal. Big money making deal that is anyway, for them the cops...........

So maybe, some other countries are actually ahead of America in freedom and government policy.

Right wingers revel in hypocrisy.

Secret service agents visit prostitutes: they are immediately fired & disgraced.

Republican Senator David Vitter of Louisiana visits prostitutes: reelected by the so called "moral majority" in Louisiana.

It's good to be right wing

This administration had to create yet another crisis since Zimmerman was arrested and no race war was started in the street.
Are you seriously suggesting the the administration could get SS and military guys to risks their families over some plan to discredit military and the supposedly best of the best?

Sometimes you make a lot sense. Sometimes????

Your level of understanding of prostitution is limited to say the least.
