Oh if it's in the privacy of their own home then it's cool. Keep it out of the public viewing and I'll be cool with it.
What people do behind closed doors is their own personal business
OK then. Maybe perhaps like alcohol, and like the set up in Amerstam where you can go to a coffee shop, as long as you're not out on the street corner.
Potheads are too busy looking for bags of chips or playing x box to have time to write letters or organize to vote. Most folks don't care one way or the other I'd guess. Should probably be happy where it's at because if the government ever took over the sales it would most likely screw it up like everything else and end up costing much more than it does nowdays. Don't fix it if it aint broke potheads.

Hmmm, that's funny, because I work 40 hours a week, and can't stand playing video games. Come on now!
You're right about the fact that the government would probably screw it up, but nevertheless I'd still rather see it legal, than continue prohibition, which doesn't work.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter as well but posts like this illustrate why other people get misinformation or misunderstand what Ron Paul stands for.
He doesn't say, "legalize drugs". He says, it is up to the states to decide, it is NOT a federal issue. If the state decides they want to legalize a drug, well, according to Ron Paul, even though he thinks YOU'RE AN IDIOT for doing drugs, you have the right to be an idiot to yourself if the state says you can.
THAT is what he stands for, not full blanket legalization.
I agree about the war on drugs being a massive failure. But even if we write our congressman about ending the prohibition of pot, do you honestly think that they'll do a damn thing about it? Follow the money! As long as you have special intersts groups that want to keep it illegal, then nothing would change.

It would be happier if writing our congressmen would actually do any good.
So sad this celebration had to go in P & C.
Legality is just around the corner. I can smell it.

I've been working on a plan the last 4 years. Strictly from the numbers, there's enough public support to either push through public sponsored bills, or force the politicians to change their stance or risk not being elected.
It's really up to all of you what happens in this country. The more people avoid standing up, the more they get away with.
No. Lets on. Smoking weed is a mind altering drug and will *never* be legal. If you want to smoke that garbage legally, go to Amsterdam or somewhere that allows it.
Too much money has gone into keeping it from being legalized in the states to have it come close to being legalized anytime soon.
Don't even attempt to hit me with 'oh but Alcohol is a mind altering drug, too!' because while that may be true the difference is that alcohol is legal whereas that useless weed is not. Simple as that, black and white.
There is a case of someone dying from weed, a teenager actually died from a chemical found within the drug itself, so there goes that argument out the window.
Unless it's for medicinal purposes, keep weed illegal. It'll just be a detriment to this country more so than it already is.
Even if your post is true (which I doubt), we don't need government telling us what we can eat, drink or smoke.
And we don't have to go to Amsterdam..... it's available all over America. God bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!
