And the pathetic efforts at deflection continue.

It's got to be maddening to continually attempt to support an ideology so bankrupt that obvious deflection is the only means of justifying it.

Truth was never meant to be pleasant. Sorry swallowing it hurts you.

Hey, why worry about ideology? You already know that the Right is always Right about everything all the time. And everyone else is pathetic. Yuk yuk.
C'mon, what could possible be more pleasant that watching liberals, commies, and other lefties squirm in agony as Satan pokes at 'em with a barbecue fork.
Yuk! Yuk!

Who told you truth is never pleasant? It's unfortunate you've had such a life that leads you to believe that truth was never meant to be pleasant.

Kind of a weak argument my friend, but I understand that you're probably biased in your perspectives.

I believe liberals are the ones who came up with that insult anyways...

Try again. I didn't say truth was never pleasant. I said it was never intended to be pleasant. Reading comprehension is your friend.

Sometimes truth is your friend, other times it hurts. Whether it brings pleasure or pain it's still the truth. Deal with it.

He's bowling a perfect game so far, thanks for continuing to confirm that
To a liberal, of course he is "correct".

Liberalism is the wholescale endorsement of lunacy on a macro scale. Why? The tenents of liberalism, when one is asked to practice them on a "micro" scale, reveal its absurdity. Otherwise, you would be fulling willing to-

1. allow two homeless families to live in your house
2. give your job to a minority
3. allow illegal immigrants to move into the houses adjacent to you
4. give $1,000 to the next random person you passed in the street
5. work to support both of your next door neighbors while they stayed at home
6. abandon central heating/air and ride a bike to work
7. "Share" your grades/promotion with others who worked less hard out of "fairness"

Unwilling to do these? Then you are a hypocrite, as you are asking "society" to do these things for you.

here are things you need to understand-

1. Federal spending indefinately will result in financial chaos for the nation

2. Hyperinflation and a devalued currency will hurt the poor and elderly the most

3. If you pay someone not to work, they won't

4. When something is give free (medicaid/foodstamps/free housing), it is not cherished or appreciated

5. "Diversity' is bad. Witness Japan, Sweden, Norway

6. "the rich" will not be enslaved by the poor- they did not become rich by being idiots.

Just a few things for you and your enlightened "genius" Bill Maher to contemplate.

Now you really have me laughing...You don't even want to know what Canadians think of your republican party...It is 90% of what is wrong with the politics in your country, as a matter of fact my friends and I refer to it as "The Funny Company"...

More accurately we don't care what Canadians think. Get back to us when you have an actual stake in our nation and have paid so much as a dime in US taxes.

Kudos for the monstrously outsized ego that makes you think what you and your friends think of a US political party should somehow be relevant to anything here. Your quoted post is a truly impressive example of self-important tripe.

I think Bill Maher and his massive ego should go and take a look in the mirror, because he just described himself.

Doesn't matter how sensible, but if a person has a R in front of his name, then Bill Maher will call the person dumb, and a lunatic. He criticized Jon Huntsman like he was a Tea Partier. Luckily, there were other Democrats there, who put him in place.

Also, if a person has a D in front of his name, then he won't say a word, no matter how dumb the person is.
