Lo and behold, the Bible has gotten too liberal, according to a group of conservatives. And it needs a little editing.

That's the inspiration behind the Conservative Bible Project, which seeks to take the text back to its supposed right-wing roots.

How is it not a Bible? It clearly says that it's a Bible.

Different people, different interpretations.

Well, then, perhaps you can show us where it says that Jesus was anointed.

In order to be a christ, one has to be anointed. You do understand that during the Jewish Civil Wars which took place 66 CE - 70 CE after Jesus faked his death and ran out on everyone, that there were more than 100 Christs running around, right? And all of them had been anointed by the High Priest, right?

Most of the hristos were killed or captured defending Galilee and Samaria. However, five of the hristos flee with their followers to Jerusalem. Three of the hristos rose to prominence: John Christ of Gishala, John Christ bar Giora, Simon Christ the Idumean.

When the siege of Jerusalem ended, I believe it was John Christ bar Giora that was captured and taken to Rome in chains.

I guess you're a little weak on your history. Anyway, if Jesus was not anointed, then it would be improper to refer to him as an hristos.

They've been doing that for 4,000 years, so why stop now?

It doesn't agree with what they want to believe.

Then it's not the Bible.............. it's finally the Liberals fairy tale book they've always wanted. All should reject it's interruption.

You can't eliminate the main charcater Jesus Christ and expect Christian's to not get upset. The word has been being told for many years about Jesus, it's not up to these people to change or omit the name of Jesus.

Is respect becoming a one way street and Christian's need to get off the street?? "Do unto others as you would have them do to you" is a good one we should all follow.
