Do I read this right.... the DOJ is saying that minorities cannot read or write as well as whites?

Washington sues Florida city over firefighter tests | Reuters

Quote:
The complaint said use of the tests "has resulted in a disparate impact upon black candidates" because African-Americans pass the examinations at significantly lower rates than white candidates.

Did you even read the article, lol?

It says union officials allegedly gave white takers of the test the questions ahead of time. But they did not give the questions to blacks ahead of time.

Perhaps that begs the question: Why did whites have to be given the questions before they took the test?

Think about it.

Just think about it.

Some people will get this more quickly than others.

It's an allegation in a lawsuit filed by black firefighters, there is no indication it actually happened.

It is probably the same thing that is happening most other places, they are testing knowledge outside of the scope of the job to weed out more canidates and the blacks are simply not prepared.

from what my SIL told to me, is that the union made it availale to all firefighters in jacksonville and that the union told its members to go take a look. it was up to the individuals to go down and look for themselves. if they didnt, then they were just stupid for not doing so.
I dont see stupidity as being racist. stupidity affects all races equally.

Any government mandated task that is not made less challenging to complete for minorities is racist.

Default DOSJ = Department of Social Justice

I sure am glad that Obama's DOSJ head AG-Holder has a laser focus on holding those at the highest levels of our government with knowledge about illegally run guns via Operation Fast and Furious accountable.
