She is funding her lavish lifestyle using a social safety net.

What would you have done, had the state confiscate her children at birth? She made a Right-to-Life decision for those babies before they were born and they are here now. The living in the conditions described in your article hardly sounds lavish, except for the cost of the haircut which I suspect was over priced because the hairstylist also cuts all 14 kids' hair for "free" while she's there.

You can "suspect" all you want. If my wife can cut her hair for free while we're on a six figure income, Octomom can learn to do the same with her and her boys.

You didn't answer my question. What would you have done when those 8 babies where born to woman who clearly couldn't support that many kids? Take them away at birth?

Cut off the welfare so she can support them herself?

Without safety nets, individuals are forced to be resourceful and maybe heaven forbid not have the kiddies in the first place.
When we subsidize something, we end up with more of it.

Don't expect a legitimate answer outside of something relating to "you have no heart"
