Having grown up as a Boy Scout, I would love to be an adult volunteer, but because of their stand on gays, I refuse to support them.

Their loss.

I wasn't responding to that point, because you were right on that. It is their rules, and unless they're changed, the Boy Scouts will continue to discriminate.

Rules are rules follow them or quit the organization. Or start your own with no allegence or ties to the nation org. Call it the Glee Scouts or something.

Hey maybe I am on to something? Glee Scouts. You heard it here first.

I don't know. I mean, I've heard the gay is more contagious than whooping cough! She could have converted the entire troop!

Rules are meant to be changed too. Where did I hear that?

Besides, as I pointed out she brought up her concerns and was told it wasn't a problem. Know why? Because it wasn't.

Why does the world need to know she's a lesbian? If she had kept her sexual orientation to herself, then there wouldn't be an issue. Young boys do not need to be exposed to her sexual deviations. It only serves to corrupt young minds into exploring an adult lifestyle that is of no particular benefit to them.

As a private organization it is their right to decide who it wants to be in their group.

It was a problem because they weren't following the rules. Would you like me to come into your house and make you live by my rules of how I think things should be?

Now if the Boy Scouts want to change their rules, fine. Until then follow the rules or leave.
