The saddest part is that because of Obama it will be a very, very long time before we see another Black person sitting behind that desk in the Oval Office.
So are you implying that Most of America is stupid enough to equate the actions on one individual as par for 40+ million people?
Did the president say that you weren't allowed to criticize him? I've never heard him ONCE say it, and can't find a link of him every saying it or even alluding to it.
Besides, find me a president or any human being that LIKES being criticized.
So much criticism of Barack Obama is countered with accusations of racism. Its as if no other president in history had opposition!
Come on. You know damn well that its part of this administrations strategy to achieve its goals and to get reelected to use the "racism" charge.
You know this.
Its part and parcel of its modus operandi. Barry doesn't have to come out and say it, his allies do it for him!
Good lord--some of you people absolutely make me sick. Ready or not, we have a black president, and the only way some of the backward rednecks in this country are going to pull up their big boy pants and get over being racists is by dealing with people different than themselves. If you never get over being a complete jacka**, hopefully your children will be exposed to others enough that it dies with your generation. America is one big melting pot, and not a predominantly white one any more. What the heck difference does skin color make for ANYTHING. Get real.
It would have turned out much differently, with a Conservative Republican, like Martin Luther King.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Another person who is completely unfamiliar with MLK Jr's political views.
To answer to OP, it was always pretty clear that many conservatives were not at all ready for a black president - thus the appearance of pictures of Obama on food stamps, waffle boxes, or as a witch doctor, shoe-shine boy, or monkey. And it's also true of some democrats, such as that woman who was filmed screaming at the Florida Democratic meeting. But frankly, if we waited for America to be "ready", we'd still be in chains, so who cares. Let them scream and rage, they'll get used to it later.
Half of us were. Half of us lost our minds and spent the last 3+ years lying about him, accusing him of being the most divisive president ever despite caving to Republicans on damn near everything, accusing him of being a radical leftist despite pushing for policies that Republicans were backing only a few years earlier, blathering on about apologizing for America, even though that never actually happened.
The right has been particularly vicious towards this president, routinely lying, voting against their own ideas, voting down bills that they sponsored, accusing him of being a foreigner, muslim, etc.

That's probably because so much criticism of Obama has nothing to do with his policies or what he's actually done.
