Former Transportation Security Administration Administrator Kip Hawley told The Daily Caller that the threat of terrorism “is not going away” and that widespread public mistrust of TSA agents is “dangerous.”

Risk? Like trading freedom for "security". Yeah, like that didn't turn out to be proven risky at best.

TSA screeners are paid in the salary range of $35K on average.....we're not talking about the cream of the crop here. We're talking about a majority of employees who feel lucky to have landed a federal job with federal benefits. That was the goal for them. There's something inherently scary about those types of people with those types of aspirations being the front line defense for the air transport industry. One can only hope that they take the job seriously.

If you're going to make a smug, lame cheap shot, at least quantify it a little.


I have no problem with the people who work for TSA.
