The Dutch government fell because of disagreements over tax cuts and limiting the debt...

Now they came up with raising The VAT.The high rate goes from 19 to 21 percent !!!!!

That means gas prices will go even up higher since they pay now 19% on gas.

Clothes, shows, etc. all go from 19% to 21%!!!!

Unbelievable...who can afford to pay for all this.

he stated that when he was in Europe and was interviewed with the Dutch prime minister. He praised the Dutch health system and public transportation system which are all owned byt the government and that is why the people in Holland pay such a high taxes...!

taxes are paid by the weight of the car

taxes are paid on gas

taxes are paid to drive on the road every year

taxes are paid when you pay a car...

taxes are paid for every dog that you own
etc.

VAT is incl. in every sale so most people don't even realize how high it is and most people think that health care is for free since partial payments are taken out of the pay check before the employee gets it in their account and the other part is paid by the employer.

If any employee had to pay it after receiving a pay check people will react different!

They are the ones hoping it will rain more Obama money (meaning free bail out money) that is why they mention all the time that Obama get's blamed if it is raining.

Who do you think owns most public transportation in the US right now and always have? Do you think those intra-city trains and busses you ride on are privately owned?

And, most of those taxes you listed are already collected here. VAT is an exception and I don't think I've ever heard Obama propose that. Have you?

This isn't someone's vision of America for the future, it's today's reality and both parties had a hand in creating it.
