I think (hope) many of you change your tune about drones when you realize that your every move will be watched by the very drones you champion in a few short years. The Middle East and the Far East are a world away, so it's easy to throw your support behind increased drone usage. But what will you say and think and do when they're flying over your house with cameras. Will you then be such big advocates?

It would be dumber for them because the differences between the Bush and Obama war-fighting doctrines are quite substantial. In fact, I posted those differences in another thread where it was ignored, naturally.

Obama: Warrior chief

Whenever you see these drones you should give them the middle finger salute. They love to be acknowleged.

I think you might change your tune about the use of drones in warfare if you had the cajones to get up from that keyboard, leave the safety of Mommy's basement, shoulder a ruck sack and plunge into that Philippine jungle and take 'em out face to face.

LOL....Mommy's Basement huh?

Yeah, you don't have clue. I'm actually a bit surprised you stooped to that level. (Ok...maybe not)

And please do point out a war in history where ONLY guilty people have died.

Or do you believe the death of innocents is somehow justified when war is given a name?

Dissident?

Or attacker?

And in case you haven't learned, there's a rather large difference between hiding out and being harbored.
Nothing is 100% credible where our millitary and fedguv are concerned or havent you learned that yet?
Point is our drones kill innocent people all the time.
Your excuse making and comment " point out a war in history where ONLY guilty people have died" suggests you are now quite comfortable killing Filipino women and children next.

I'll rephrase my question so a dodge wont be so easy:
So if someone China deemed a threat to its security, was suspected of being in your neighborhood and they took action with a drone attack that killed the wife and child of a neighbor, you'd feel they were justified?

Sounds about right. The internet warrior chest thumping is strong in that one.

Aren't the Philippines the country together with which the US is playing war games in Asian waters at the moment?
Countries like the Philippines should really start to take care of their own problems, if there is a problem in the first place. I would be careful about information coming from a country where people are so fanatically Christian that they have themselves hammered to crosses at Easter.

If they took care of their own problems, then Obama couldn't politically leverage the situation and rush in to provide "assistance".
