A friend showed me this video yesterday and I am COMPLETELY shocked.
I feel absolute dread everytime I hear this recording, the truth in his voice feels beyond believable.
What are your opinions, be descriptive.
I heard this call back in 1997 - it was rather spooky especially when Art Bell went off the air. I belive the same guy called back a few years later and told Art that it was a joke - but that still doesn't explain why the radio transmission was lost. SOMEBODY thought the guy was real and was saying too much.

You are correct on both statements. He called back several months later and said the whole thing was a hoax and he repeated the same frantic tone in his voice on the second call. The next night Art explained the loss of transmission as a technical problem with his uplink transmitting equipment. I thought it was more than mere coincidence that transmission was lost at precisely that point, too, and never could quite believe that it was a purely coincidental technical failure. I have little doubt that *whoever* had a hand in telling Art how to explain it to his audience.
