Advocating for animals is supposed to be the core belief of PETA as an organization. If they are not willing to stick by that commitment due to their liberal beliefs and their love of the sitting President, then they have no business commenting on the subject.

They just did irreparable damage to themselves.

PETA did not say, it was ok, they said they were ok with the jokes. How many PETA members do you know? I happen to know a few and most of them are Vegan. Two I know of even have Vegan dogs. And one of the Vegans is a lesbean, Republican and she does have a Vegas dog...

Did you even read the article? They weren't advocating dog eating they where saying that they didn't care about the jokes he made at the WH Correspondence dinner and they where asked.
