Do you think that every basketball forward in the world is a socialist because of the name of his position? I beth you do.
I think the right wingers would love Somalia. Little to no government regulation, low tax rates, a vibrant gun culture and a citizenry that fully supports social conservative views of the role of women and gays in society. Mogadishu is like a Tea Party paradise.
I for one have no intention of standing in their way.
The body has both a left hand and a right hand. The left hand is more cumbersome than the right in most cases. If you know anything about artists and musicians, you will understand that the left hand can be trained to almost be as dexterous as the right..In effect the body can learn to have two right hands.
The great eternal corruption of the human state and the sorry use of partisan politics is that it will always tear the body asunder..There will be a constant tearing at the fabric of society and there will never be true peace or prosperity.
The so-called left is a position and stance regulated by ignorance. While the right is governed by arrogance and blind pride. Both serve to limit human capacity to deal with reality. Ignorance and arrogance are almost the same thing.
One is too blind to see- the other can see but make the liberal choice of turning a blind eye to what is real and true.
Those that say they are "comfortable" may just be slackers who have found a niche to hide in- usually one colored by the paint of luxury. Not that there is anything wrong with having human comfort...and a life devoid of material stress...but conflict will result and internal domestic class war fare takes place..though it be quiet and bloodless...it is still war.
It is a matter of physics..there is only so much material matter to be had...and in order to compile great wealth...one pile is always made smaller by the enlargement of the other..It becomes a game based in fair play...or creating an illusion that we all function on a democratic fair playing field.
In the end game...the scales are tipped to the point of imbalance..and the destruction and fall of a nation will certainly be the results...where the rich and the poor eventually BOTH perish.
Not talking about fabricated socialist means of wealth re-distribution...just talking about normal and healthy fair play.. Darwin never said anything about survival of the strongest by the destruction of the weak...He talked about mutual co-operation and evolutionary adjustment...without the poor the rich will cease to exist. A nation must at least try to be a nation that can say- we have the richest poor people in the world.
My dad had one rule of mutual survival..one rule of respect (the transfer of power back and forth)...it was contained in one statement THERE ARE OTHERS.
To pretend that only you are real and only you exist will generate an illusion that grows so strong that it will choke and suffocate the arrogant...and make the ignorant so poverty struck and bankrupt that they the so called left will also vanish.
It is like a Lord with servants....the servants are as important as he...if the master is unjust and blinded by pride..the most just of the servants will take his position. We live in a world that has forgotten that we need two feet to walk...to hands to rule as one...and that competition and crazed careerism have their limitations...."What good does it do for a man to gain and rule the world when by doing so he loses his soul (common physical death.......awaits us all.....No point in being king of an ash heap...If you want power- real power- you generate power...You don't just suck it up - to be stored and horded without purpose.
