He doesn't plan on returning to school because his outlook on life has changed since he was locked into that cell.

That sounds like he's already planning on winning the lawsuit.

Five days is a long time though without water. Don't cells have toilets in them?

If it was one day okay I could see that. Maybe two if you stretch. But 5 days and he had to drink his own pee, tried to kill himself and broke his own tooth out of his mouth to carve I'm Sorry in his arm to his family.

There is no defense especially since they never charged him with anything and they admitted culpability by taking him to hospital and paying for it themselves. Holy crap this is crazy.

That's not admitting guilt at all. I'm not more guilty of knocking up someone's wife if I offer to drive her to a hospital to give birth.

But it's pretty clear that someone ****ed up. I need to go make a new friend whose about to get a lot of dough.

It's probably just a cell meant for temporary detainment, I'd imagine even if it did have a toilet they would have the water shut off.

WHAT?

Maybe if you are found in bed with her once then your comment would make sense. They pulled him out of a cell after forgetting about him for 5 days and drove him to the hospital and paid for it. They knew they were wrong from the jump but regardless this kid is getting paid.
