in comfort? Private jets that cost 8 million dollars and 49 million dollars. Houses at 5.6 million dollars. All that is much more than mere comfort.
All that comfort is financed by millions of suckers that donate their money.
Sheesh. What a friggin' nit picker you are over a word. Comfort, schumfort. From simple comfort to lavish comfort, comfort is a broad spectrum.
If organizations (like TBN) were required to pay taxes, they could surely mobilize enough of their sucker followers to demonstrate outrage and demonize anyone who favored taxes for religious organizations. TBN has many loyal (sucker) viewers which gives TBN a great propagada advantage.
You don't want to start taxing charities, but we could find a way to tax their assets, salaries and property. Some of these churches sit on acres of land that is not put to any use, plus the lavish lifestyle of some of these pastors and reverends.
These churches could have community gardens and farms.

Oh no, we can rake Christianity over the coals with or without this story--that's easy enough to do. In fact, it's pretty easy to do with any theistic religion.
I mean, look at the Vatican. The place is figuratively made of solid gold--and they preach about giving to the church all the time. Cunucu up there mentioned the Church of Scientology--which is blatantly obvious a money making scheme. Religion is all about money and power--allegations of abuse or not, it's pretty clear no matter where you look.
