Jan Brewer signs 'life begins at menstruation' bill, the most draconian anti-abortion law so far (suspect, insurance)

The one thing I never see in these abortion debates is a woman's post starting with..."I've had an abortion....." And then her opinion.
I'm sure there are some woman that are strong supporters of abortion who have had one or more...But I wonder why they do not make that statement.
Of course one truth is that they do not feel that good about it, and that is understandable...But I get the sense that almost all the posts are by people that haven't got a clue about what it really involves...It's not just the politics at all, is it?
For those of you that think that you are crusading on their behalf....I think not ...I'm sure most women that went through it would have some far different things to say.
I had some female friends that had to make the decision, and the conversations were far from the crap that I read on these posts. (Some wondered if it was banned would they have thought a little more responsibly)
And for those that crusade against it...For almost all women it is a heart wrenching decision...And as for any criticism about their decisions..."Let someone with no sins throw the first stone"
On the flip side, I know quite a few women who've had abortions and DON'T regret it. All three of my best friends have had one (or multiples), and they've never expressed anything but relief from their decisions. Two of those friends now have children, and have basically said "things happened as they were meant to, and I have the children I was supposed to have when I was supposed to have them." I also recall a story from my mother, which took place during the period when abortion was illegal... her roommate in college got pregnant, and almost died from a botched back-alley abortion. Did the law stop her? Apparently not!
So I do know what it involves outside of politics, even though I haven't personally had an abortion. And not every woman regrets it, nor do the rest of us want the CHOICE taken away - whether or not we ever exercise this right.
The life begins at menstruation law goes into effect in 90 days:
It sets the gestational age as beginning on the first day of a woman’s last period, rather than at fertilization. Which, in practice, means that a virgin can get pregnant and instead of barring abortions after 20 weeks as the law states, actually cuts the time to 18 weeks.
How did Arizona vote for such a witch as Brewer?
The Republicans are going to lose BIG!
SB1070 and her belated support of it got her elected. And she also had the power of incumbency seeing as how she first got the job without being elected.
She's a joke, and the state Republican party is making a laughingstock out of this state.

It sees like every month Arizona is coming up with these crazy new laws that are throwbacks to the middle ages. WTF? Is it because it's an election year, or are they this crazy every year?

women don't start their post with I had an abortion for one because it is no ones business except her's. you do not need a "qualifier" to have an opinion on the matter. just as you don't need to say I have a gun when posting about gun rights.
most women I know who had abortions do not regret them one bit.
What is the proper point of gestation in which it is acceptable to murder the fetus?
There is zero gestation between a woman's period and ovulation. That is the point.
