Can't you guys ever give credit for anything under Obama's watch?

Had this attack been successful, you side would be the first to blame Obama directly, instead of taking the Bush out, "intelligence failures."

There's no telling what the First Desperate Black President will pull out of his hat for the "October Surprise." The way this President operates, there's no doubt in my mind that something is being concocted at this very moment.

Wasn't it just a week or so ago the idiots at DHS said the war on terror was over? I guess the AQ boys never go the memo.

Can Bush say the same about his presidency?
Off the top of my head: the shoe bomber, the underwear bomber, and at least 25 more. Under Obama about 10.

Nearly four years and people still reference Bush for anything, they can. Did I miss some random terrorist attacks under Bush? I'm fairly certain there wasn't a single successful instance, other than 911, on US soil.

I'm loving that people still blame Bush for 911. He was in office little more than eight months when 911 happened. I'd blame the terrorists and dysfunctional relationships of the FBI, CIA and DOD(at that time.) Let's not forget that Clinton had UBL in his scope no less than 3x and failed to take him out. I think Bush deserves the blame for his over reaction, which led to the creation of the Freedom and Liberties act (Patriot), DHS, and TSA.

Obama gets a pass on EVERY FAILURE and a pat on the back for following through with that which Bush already had in place. He only had to say, "GO!" The way prOBamanuts talk, you'd think he put on his cape and took out UBL himself. We do know that Obama's increased use of drones has killed more than 5000 people. Who knows how many of that was collateral damage? Isn't collateral damage another phrase for acceptable murder?

Give credit where credit is due; To the Marines, CIA and DOD (in that order) for following UBL's trail and taking him out, then Obama for saying "GO" if you must. The same goes for thwarting this attack as well. Cheers to the CIA

Note: IMHO, there's really no difference between Bush and Obama. IF anything, Obama has become more inclined to conflict while at the same time preaching reason (talking adnauseum) and patience with our enemies. It's confusing and sends a weak message.

Do you worry about HARP sending you subliminal messages?

Didn't the Obama administration direct the military to re-name the self-proclaimed Soldier of Islam's Fort Hood massacre an incident of "workplace violence"?

I rest my case.

I just heard today about this AQ plot too. I was out of town and only watched the alphabet news occasionally. They appear to be downplaying any "terrorist" news as the war on terror is apparently over to them. No more attacking into Pakistan, no more drone attacks etc. If we play nice may they will go away. Back to the Clinton doctrine on fighting terror it appears. Unless an aspirin is around a bad guy we wont fire on em.
