Why did 23 U.S. Democrat Senators disagree with you...?

Thanks for yet another thread that further divides and erodes our country. I guess everyone should just sit still and have reality dictated to them by 'authority figures' with medals on their chests. Anyone ever think for themselves?

Do you think they are trying to divide our nation?
"No one should condemn a group for asking questions, or has it now become acceptable to taze someone who speaks up?" I love speaking up also. It's fun!

Are you saying that I should not have brought this thread up? But isn't that trying to keep me quiet...?
Do you think this forum's moderator should taze me or just ban me?

The reason that Democrats and others should condemn MoveOn over the Betray Us ad is...
A. The organization made allegations concerning the veracity and integrity of General Petraeus' Congressional testimony that were untrue.
B. No one is alllowed to question the veracity or integrity of a high-ranking US military official, regardless of the nature of his testimony.

I voted "yes', but only for the ad itself, not the entire organization.
I believe the self inflicted wound is fatal, and Moveon.org will become a non player in the election, as Democrats distance themselves from the organization. I believe "backdoor" request from the party will keep it from participation.

I believe the self-inflicted wound of its continuing emphasis on form over substance and emotion over reason will be fatal to what little is left of the Republican Party. Look for it to fragment and go the way of the Whigs...

You're right. They should pursue substance like the democrats and spend their time on non-binding resolutions that they know in advance will not pass.

Ugh, who cares. If you choose to be in a position of power, be prepared to get smeared. End of story.
What, is the military infallible? Is anyone who doesn't support a military leader automatically wrong? Unpatriotic? UnAmerican?
Why does brown-nosing authority seem to be THE hallmark requirement of being a "good American" to so many people? When did it start being like that, anyway?
