Oh and BTW, Jesus forgave many sinners for their error...but then enjoined them to "Go and sin no more!" He was "tolerant" in the sense of loving people (us) even in our failings, but nowhere does it say He tolerated sin.
"Go and sin no more!" That is the one they hate and the one they reject.

I believe if they review the CDC reports and STDs they will see there is a very real reason to not engage in sins of the flesh, a health reason.

I could say the same for the second great commandment of "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself". I do not see a qualifier in the scriptures of "if they are worthy in our eyes". Tolerance anyone?

We all gather our own truths from society and assimilate them into a managable system of beliefs. For me, Jesus was much less rigid and judgemental than most conservatives are today. Why is the focus of sin on abortion and gay marriage? Seriously, who received the divine inspiration that these were the top two? Why is it okay to kill another human being in the name of "freedom" and so very wrong for a woman to abort a child. Not saying that I agree with that, just curious as to the rationale.

Oh and by the way, technically, since Jesus was a descendant of Abraham he would be an Iraqi today. Oops!

No, that's a good reason to not engage in "unsafe" sex. CDC and STD reports are a result of UNPROTECTED sex, not "sex per se." If EVERYONE was safe, those CDC numbers would be 95% lower or more!

Nice try though.

We live in a society that glorifies killing and condems sex. How Roman.

I know that in the Movies and in the Bible, Jesus ALWAYS spoke ENGLISH. Not making any judgements here....draw your own conclusions.

Liberals are infatuated with abortion on demand, which I don't think would have exactly warmed the heart of the Almighty. He probably wouldn't like how liberals hope to ban the use of any language which even hints at religion (including offering a public "Merry Christmas" in celebration of Jesus' birthday) everywhere but in churches, synagogues and private homes. Add to the list of things He wouldn't favor: legislated racial discrimination also known as affirmitive action, another liberal favorite.

Sadly, television is indeed how most Americans learn about history.
