LOL, Hate to inform ya but a small number of gays and lesbians not producing off-spring will have no affect on our population, not to mention extinction of the species, which by the way, is already too high and still growing far too fast. Do you just make stuff up as you go or are you truely that ignorant?
What does the gender of sex offenders have to do with gay people in general? Show me a study citing statistics of what percentage of homosexual men are predators, and then maybe we can talk about it.
No you won't .. because there have been many such statistics documented. But one can extrapolate their own rational conclusions based on the overall data regarding pedophilia. Here's how that works:
1) the breakdown of pedophiles by gender show an overwhelming majority (95-98% depending on sources) are committed by males. Very few female pedophiles, according to the statistics.
2) the breakdown of victims by gender show that female child victims out number male child victims by a 2 to 1 margin ...
3) #1 and #2 show that opposite sex oriented pedophiles outnumber same sex oriented pedophiles roughly 2 to 1.
4) Heterosexual males outnumber homosexual males roughly 20 to 1 in the general population.
5) #3 and # 4 indicate that the ratio of 2/1 heterosexual/homosexual child sexual abusers measured against 20/1 heterosexuals/homosexuals in the general population pool show that even though heterosexuals commit 66% of the pedophile crimes, the homosexual is actually 10 times more likely to be a pedophile .... mathematically, not politically speaking.
Math is your friend ... it is the language of science and statistics. Politics is the art of telling people what they want to hear, irrespective of the truth.
Of course, if allowed to "redefine" the meaning of words and terms, the liberal will claim that men sexually abusing little boys is not a same sex act (don't ask them to explain unless you want a headache), and therefore not homosexual in nature. I've even heard that it is proven that most all pedophiles are actually heterosexual, irrespective of the gender of their victims. This insane argument largely relies on interviews with pedophiles who claim to be heterosexual in spite of their exclusive abuse of boys. This suggests that either these sickos are tremendously confused (which we already knew) .. and or that they have such deep seated denial of being homosexual, that they'd prefer to be considered pedophiles instead.
This also suggests that no one has a lower opinion of homosexuality than a homosexual pedophile ... hence forth can be referred to as a homo-pedo-phobe.

I wonder if that is because heterosexuals are about 90% of the population and Homosexuals are about 10%???
30 states have outright bans! I think the president (i.e. Romney) will have to step in and address this issue head on. Since NO STATES (that is ZERO) have actually voted in favor of gay marriage, the laws in those states are suspect. If we are going to have the states decide then we should have the citizens decide, not liberal judges. It may be politically convenient to lay low on this issue, but it is not going away.
Romney cannot step in. It's a states rights issue, and even IF Romney was so inclined, he cannot change it. At most he could ASK congress to look into the matter, because the president's job is NOT making laws, or disctating to states what they can and cannot do.
Homosexuality has been observed in hundreds of species. In many, it has been shown to support the survival of the species: gay couples will often "adopt" the offspring of their fallen sister, brother or cousin and raise them as their own, greatly increasing the survival rate of those offspring.
Being an incredibly invasive species ourselves, I don't think we need to worry about homosexuality as a threat to the survival of humankind.
