Wrong!!! It has to do with where you were born, not your parents.

Do you know the difference between an individual running for president and the qualification that they are natural born, and ones spouse? There have been numerous presidents with dual nationalities, why would Bachman be any different?

It has to do with YOUR PARENTS citizenship status. Here goes a link right to the conspiracy theory email which was going around.

snopes.com: Is Barack Obama a natural-born citizen of the U.S.?

It VERY CLEARLY says the issue they propose was OBAMAS PARENTS.

Actually we've had 2 presidents that held dual nationalities prior to Obama, James Buchanan, and Chester Alan Arthur.

Having dual citizenship does not disqualify one for president.

No. It does not.

Natural born citizenship has exactly nothing to do with your parent's citizenship status at all.

Here is an example of just one of thirteen court cases since 2009 that have declared so. (emphasis added):

Quote:
Based upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are “natural born Citizens” for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents. Just as a person “born within the British dominions [was] a natural-born British subject” at the time of the framing of the U.S. Constitution, so too were those “born in the allegiance of the United States [] natural-born citizens.”

Your argument here is with your fellow Birthers, not with anybody else.
