If Latinos vote for a party that has spent the last three years attacking them, creating "show me your papers" laws, calling them every name in the book and telling them to get out of the country, then they deserve the outcome they get. Seriously. Sort of like a gay Republican.

Good for you, Mr. President.

Good for you.

There will never be another Democratic nominee for President who opposes same-sex marriage. And, frankly, there won't be many more Republican nominees who oppose it, either. This year there will. 2016, probably. By 2020? I doubt it.

I've been happily married for 17 years this August. And it pleases me every time another state extends the freedom I enjoy -- to marry the consenting adult of the gender to which I am naturally attracted -- to all adults.

Onward...

And that was 3.5 years ago. Things have changed dramatically over the last couple of years.

Read the numbers:

Just what did you people think he was going to say. He was between a rock and a hard place. Of course he's going to tell you what you want to hear. He wants to be reelected so he will lie to get it.

But they'll be repeating that old line endlessly over the next couple of days. You can count on that!
