Minnesota is a very blue state and it shows as a "peaceful" state. North and South Dakota are very red states and they are also "peaceful". Hmmmmmm......must be some other factors in play here.
If you consider rape a violent crime North and South Dakota are not very peaceful.
The State of South Dakota has the highest rate of forcible rape incidents on the United States at 76.5 per 100,000.
The State of North Dakota has rate of forcible rape of rate of 46.3 per 100,000.
Contrast the with the State of New York were the rate is 14.4 per 100,000.
What that means basically that a person is FIVE TIMES more likely to get raped in South Dakota as they are in New York and three times more likely to get raped in North Dakota compared to New York.
Not surprising. Being ignorant, violent, and a teabagger all go hand in hand.

Ever lived in the south? Been shot or beaten in the south? Been bagged in the south?
At least ignorance can be overcome. Intolerance and hatred need a little more work.
What do people like you call a homosexual who engages in the sexual activity known as teabagging? Must be confusing when trying to get someone's attention. "Hey, teabagger!" How many gay people turn around? Or are there a lot of the other kinds of teabaggers nearby?
A roving pack of teenagers waged a two-minute crime spree that left five people robbed and beaten following a concert in New Jersey's largest city, police said Wednesday.
The wave of violence broke out as nearly 20,000 people left Newark's Prudential Center after a sold-out concert Saturday by the band the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Three teenagers and two adults were targeted, including a 23-year-old Pennsylvania man, who suffered a fractured eye socket, police said.
Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio said the suspects appeared to be a band of 10 or 15 "thugs." No arrests have been made.
The states in question have the highest minority populations which statistically participate in crime at a higher rate than the lilly white states in the North which are on the top of the low violence states.
This information explains exactly why people like myself in the South are conservative, we've been forced by liberals to deal with problems that we didn't cause while those same liberals enjoy lives of solitude in states like Connecticut and New Hampshire where the only people of color that they ever see are cleaning their million dollar homes during the day.
So I get it. Blame the blacks. You have made your feelings clear. You are wrong but that is part of the problem in the south. Many blame all their problems on blacks. Always have.
So you are conservative because minorities are in the south? Don't respond I can do without it.
