There is a threshold where the minimum number of random citizens needed to accuratly repersent a population surpasses the number of people that can have a productive meeting in a decent venue, but what is that population 25,000? 40,000?

A direct or complete democracy is when every citizen has a vote directly on laws, (like in a Open town meeting) once you get too many people it becomes impossible to manage but what is that threshold?

There are also these things called punctuation and statistics. The first would make the original post more readable and the second would be the answer to your question.
