I'VE actually seen with my own eyes GASP - A ten year old boy walk right over to his mother while she was sitting @ a table talking with other women..lift up her shirt and start to "bottle" on one breast.
Instantly I was overwhelmed with 'thirst"!! I sure am thirsty I said and all them women laughed so hard.
Eskimo's have some very strange customs and traditions!!
I recently heard of children being breastfed until the age of five (5). I did not believe it so I looked it up. Yep. It's true. While I think it ridiculous, I don't CRINGE at the idea of it. If something such as this makes anyone 'cringe', perhaps they should hide away somewhere. Because things to actually 'cringe' about are all over the place. And much, much more serious than this.
I don't agree with a child over six to eight months being breastfed. But we all have our differences. It's a family's business. There are many, many more serious things to be addressed. Get over it.

Why?
I believe most medical experts advise mothers to breastfeed for at least a year, if possible, and I read somewhere a few days ago that they have upped that recommendation to the age of two.
Meh... studies how slonger breastfeeding correlates to higher iq. I read that fats in breast milk are specifically designed to promote brain development which leads to kids being smarter.

This is much ado about nothing. At age 5 and 10, yeah, bit much. Kinda makes you a giant vending machine. Once you have teeth sorry that's a problem. (lol)
