You seem to have missed that the DOJ has already done their own investigation and apparently feel they have proof of this already. Else they would not be in court.

Whatever the answer to that question is, it is not harassing citizens based on their ethnicity.

But a first hand witness would bolster their case, would it not? The poster I replied to made statements about Apaio as if they were facts he knew about for sure. No one knows for sure if the allegations are true or not. Anyone can take someone to court "thinking" they have enough evidence to convict but they might well be proven wrong.

They are not out soliciting additional witnesses, so they appear to have it completely in hand.

There is no proof that is what has happened. Heresay by someone with a biased agenda is not proof. I'd like to know what this so-called harrassment means and who is claiming it.

It's going to be interesting to see what results. The Sheriff may get away with a tap on the wrist. We will see.

We shall see who is proven to be "wrong", that is why we have courts.

Witnesses to murder also provide hearsay based on your logic. Many of the witnesses are former MCSO officers themselves. Do they have a biased agenda too?

Agree 100%

A law enforcement agency suing another law enforcement agency, just how far will this lunacy in the United States of America continue?
