No, but maybe you need to read some more local and newer words about this case.

So you can't reconcile the two Firsts? Sort of blows a big fat hole in the theory that US culture is rooted in the 10 commandments, doesn't it?

The 10 commandments may have influenced some aspects of American law hundreds of years ago. But how are they any more relevant today than laws condoning slavery or laws prohibiting women from voting or laws prohibiting interracial marriages?

Where do the 10 commandments appear in the U.S. Constitution?

Maybe you need to look a bit further into this story and try to see how all kids in the school, except that one, are being screwed.

I wondered about this since those things can't even be posted on the grounds of public buildings, according to law and looked a but further than just the removal of an important part of that display. I sure would like to be in the court where this case gets argued.

Let me suggest this newer, much more local, article as something that could be more informative than anyone here has read up to now.

I posted the actual lawsuit a long time ago in this thread and nobody read it. Don't say your opinion piece is the best yet because it isn't. It's still just an opinion when the facts are available.
