The culture is entirely different over there.

We have 300 million people, they have 80 million.

Their gun regulations are very strict, ours are not.

To own a gun in Germany you have to have a registration for every firearm you own and license. They also don't have the violence that we have.

In Austria you have to pass a psychological examination, how many Americans would submit to that, it's not required for gun ownership in the USA.

The culture is not similar to American society.

I think we accept violence as part and parcel of American society. In Germany as well as in Austria so much has been done to castrate both the nations after WW2 that violence under any circumstances is to be avoided like the plague. As I said, culturally the nations are very different especially with regard to their acceptance of violence.

It is taught in schools there from childhood that having national pride is something that they should not engage in.

I was surprised when I visited my very first time and noticed that there weren't very many national flags flying on buildings or schools, etc., coming from the USA where it's common to see the US flag displayed in public.

If the police in the US are firing more bullets than German police, then we need to train US police to shoot more accurately. If it takes 85 bullets to hit one suspect, then obviously US police cannot shoot worth beans.

Didn't somebody take all the guns from the German people some time ago? Maybe all you say was easier this time.

Do they have something in their constitution that allows them to bear arms? We do, and liberals aren't the ones who are doing all the determining of what that Amendment says.

There is no Constitutionally affirmed right to bear arms in Germany either is there?

Think it was a guy from the National Socialist Party with a funny mustache who wrote Mein Kampf and liked to gas Jews to death in concentration camps.

Apparently the OP supports such actions.
